HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS ARE INVITED TO EXPLORE THE WORLD OF
MANUFACTURING.
Less than 30% of the US manufacturing workforce is female. That means
the sector is losing out on utilizing the talents and skills of women, and
women are losing the opportunity for some great, family-supporting
careers.
The main goal of this event is to introduce high school girls to careers in
manufacturing and other skilled trades; inspire and empower them into
considering non-traditional careers; and show them that they can break
ceilings.
